re-foaming

    I refoamed a pair, with otherwise nice cabinets, but I get a "buzz" on one of them. Is that an issue with a capacitor?

    Goliath II sub sounds "gravelly"

    I have a Goliath II sub that sounds gravelly or scratchy. It has been re foamed but I don't think it has been re capped. Is it just a bad foam job or would some new caps clean up the audio? Or is the driver toast?

    first re-foaming job.

    So, i did my first refoam job on a Pioneer CS A500 tweeters and it was relatively simple. Cleaned them up, centered the surrounds as close as i could get them and glued them up, gasket and all. Not a bad job i think . Now, can anyone give me an opinion of these speakers. I will listen to the...
