    Signet TK1N Stylus with Collapsed Suspension - Retip/Repair or Replace

    I just picked up a vintage Signet TK5E cartridge last night. It came with the original Signet TKN1 stylus (0.2 x 0.7, nude, square shank). Unfortunately, the suspension has gone soft. Even with the VTF set at 1.0g, the plastic body of the stylus rubs on the surface of the record being played...

    Buy a New Cartridge or New Stylus for Existing? Help!!

    I've been torturing myself trying to figure out what to do.... Should I buy an ATN120E for my AT Signet TK5Ea or just sell the Signet and put money toward a new cartridge? Total budget for a new stylus is around $100 and I have no idea what I could get for the Signet without a good stylus. Help!!
