    Speaker cable connection to a Yamaha P2200

    Wiring thick-ish speaker cable into a Yamaha P2200.. The hole in the amp's speaker terminal is a bit too thin to accept the speaker cable. So what's the very best way of doing this? Bare wire? Soldered tips? Spade lugs? If so, what type / brand.

    Any Idea How These Are Used?

    I've never seen this spade terminal arrangement before. Seller says that "each pair of terminals is insulated from the next." Anybody have any idea how these are used? Applications? They were found mixed in with barrier-type terminal strips such as used in older speaker connections. GeeDeeEmm
