Speaker cable connection to a Yamaha P2200

Wiring thick-ish speaker cable into a Yamaha P2200..
The hole in the amp's speaker terminal is a bit too thin to accept the speaker cable.
So what's the very best way of doing this? Bare wire? Soldered tips? Spade lugs?
If so, what type / brand.

Looks like banana plugs might go in the ends of the terminals.
Another option is pins.
