    Speaker cable connection to a Yamaha P2200

    Wiring thick-ish speaker cable into a Yamaha P2200.. The hole in the amp's speaker terminal is a bit too thin to accept the speaker cable. So what's the very best way of doing this? Bare wire? Soldered tips? Spade lugs? If so, what type / brand.

    Yamaha p2200 peak meters

    Hi folks, I noticed that the peak meters are not moving at all to the music. Sometimes when I first fire it up, they are responsive, and then quit again. The amplified signal is fine and unaffected. The dials works as they should etc. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!
