    Sony TC-630D running too fast?

    The tape is running WAY too fast, like it's fast forwarding. It changes slightly when I switch the speed but just barely. The pinch roller is also not touching the tape/capstan shaft, which isn't a mechanical issue since the pinch roller can't be pushed any farther than it already is, so I...

    Sony TC-630 reel to reel VU meter bulbs

    Hi - am looking for replacement axial VU meter bulbs for a Sony TC-630. They appear to be 2 volt bulbs, and are fed from a 2 volt winding on the power transformer. I don't know the mA rating of them. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks, John
