    Help - Thorens TD 165 Cartridge

    Hello all! I'm new to the forum and I just purchased a Thorens TD 165. The cartridge on this unit is an older Shure M75 Type 2. What would be a good cartridge for this unit for around $100? Or should I just keep the cartridge and replace the stylus? The tonearm is the stock TP 11-I. Any help...

    Thorens TD 165 dust cover/hinges

    Hello all! First time post. I recently purchased a Thorens TD 165 turntable on ebay. It came with the pictured base and "lift off" dust cover. Are there hinges available for this cover? If so, how does it attach? I see no way to attach a hinge to the base. Thank you for any assistance.

    Thorens TD165 33 1/3 RPM Problem

    My Thorens TD 165 will not play 33 1/3 RPM accurately. On inspection, it appears that the belt is not sitting on the lower part of the motor spindle, it is riding between the 33 1/3 part and the 45. This, of course, is causing 33 1/3 records to play too fast! I have changed belts twice and...
