1 minute of your audio world - let's see and hear what you got !!!

Some Ian Dury & The Blockheads.

Source is from a long forgotten radio station from the late 70's called "KZAM" in Seattle WA, just a few hours from where I live. They only existed for a couple years but they played rock & soul eclectic stuff like this.

Enjoyed all the vids, and thank you for your contribution.

What's the first music piece?? Sounds like Henry Mancini or something. Enjoyed that greatly!

And @egellings I hear you on the argument you made, but mainly, it's just sharing the place where you enjoy the tunes.

Just for fun, nothing academic or to any real standard.
The video aspect is fine, since seeing the room & equipment is enjoyable, and the picture of the setting will be of higher visual fidelity than the sound part will be in audio fidelity.

I've always said that Bluegrass is Country's version of Heavy Metal.

If you play Bluegrass, you've got chops. No slackers in that genre, been humbled a few times by fellow players with that in their background.
It seems every video I try to upload it says the music is copyrighted. Gotta use something obscure.

Mike

It's been quite awhile since I posted anything here!

Here's a few videos from my 'big' system... not nearly as impressive as others here, but I like it. Recent additions were the Carver power amp, I wanted to make my system sound more boomy and club like (considering I listen to mostly UK prog house/rave tracks).

1st Video... "Your Love - Prodigy"

Here, I enjoy the bright sound that the speakers and turntable bring out in the track. The sliding guitar is never featured, but in my setup it sticks out!

2nd video... "Passion - Gat Decor"

Again, love how the piano comes out clearly even in the midst of the bass thunder of this classic tune.

This sound ain't for everyone, and the music surely isn't, but I'm Honored to bring down the house with this setup!

Some very nice systems out there, everyone.

If at all possible, please pan and scan the room, maybe hit the lights so we can see the environment as well.

Thanks to all who took a moment and contributed. I love to see where you guys and gals do your listening.

I might pan around the room later today. Depends whether my mother is home or not, and when my camera charger arrives today. I just recently got my first mirrorless camera

My mother also meticulously decorated for Christmas so it should look nice.

@Romeo Wolf Dude, your post in exactly the kind I was hoping for.

We older AK'ers appreciate your youthful enthusiasm.

Why, it seems just yesterday Vinyl David was a new member, and he posted prolifically. Now, he's a walking encyclopedia of audio. I find myself valuing his opinion on gear as much or more than my own.

Remember, everyone, the new blood is the life's blood of this site.
