1000 posts - A summary

:beerchug:Congrats on your 1,000 posts, though I suspect Edward Tufte might have a word or two to say about your pie chart (The Visual Display of Qualitative Information).

I believe those are Tufte compatible colors, are they not? Although I would have displayed the legends next to their respective pie pieces. Geeky stuff, I know. OTOH, the Space Shuttle crashed because of these kinds of problems. Let's be careful out there. :D

Congratulations on 1,000 posts ... and on one of the geekier (but cool and interesting) 1000th posts!

But, um, just what exactly is a "Where's my brussels sprouts?" post? :headscrat

In a particularly stupid thread about rolexes by a now gone silly decade obsessed youngster, strawman offered me some brussell sprouts for my thrusters, but never ponied up the goods. So whenever that youngster would start stupid threads, I'd pipe in with a nonsensical "where's my brussell sprouts?", strawman would usually follow with a "wheres my thusters"

I'm not sure if it was some sort of multimedia postmodern performance art commenting on our consumist society, or just me and strawman taking the p..s, but it was fun

We need more pie charts!

That's awesome, man. You've redeemed yourself, as far as I'm concerned... :D

Redeemed for what, did I say something about Ween?

BTW thanks for all the kind words :thmbsp:

Just rattlin' your cage man...

I love the pie chart, and enjoy your posts.

That goes for me, too...And I love Cockney Rhyming slang, there was a now-defunct site called The Bollocks that was basically a bunch of Brit footballers slagging off each other & anyone else who bothered to post there. They had a Cockney Rhyming Dictionary for the un-initiated. It was a LOT meaner than this place, yet strangely, had a similar sense of camraderie.

fouzand posts- that one to boast to yer mates about down at the trough Friday night- pots of amber to toast your success.:beerchug:
But, mate, want's with the creepy-crawlies fascination? Did you just get tired of dispatching critters under a size 10 Blundstone? A repentance of years of Mortein abuse?
Anyway, takes a geek to know a geek- congratulations, bloke.

I also started the great "wogger" craze of 2006. :D

I so need to do a pie chart of my posts . . . way to go caddisgeek :thmbsp:

Barring taking the time to actually DO one, I'd have to guess it be about 30 % KLH / Advent / Acoustic Research, 30 % tube consoles, 10 % "look what I scored for almost no money", 10 % bad jokes, 10 % stalled projects, and 10% dumb questions :D:yes:
