12b4, 6ca4 build questions....

I think, from what I can see from post #154, that the DN2540 isn't wired up right. Check the schematic and wiring diagram again on that one.

just figured id upload some more pics...... help......

wiring corrections..I think you may have just reversed the pins by looking at it from a different angle

Ive been working on this, and havin probs, fired up one resistor like a filament,, hehe.... it was stinkin... im working on it in case your wondering....

I also moved the red jumpers and have been testing, i asked an old buddy if he had any resistors and low and behold he had some 100's so i got 9 out of 10 left. ill update later on this!

Something aint right, it seems ive got .038 on the right channel, and .098 on the left... thats as low as they go, source is a 9 volt battery with 100 ohm resistor inbetween the two probes..... any ideas, the trimpots are as low as they can go.... i can turn em both up but not down past .038 and .098....

Im also using the dcv 2 top left in yellow......

I'm thinking you've got your meter on 2V across the 100ohm resistor and are measuring the 0.038 and 0.098 with trimpots turned all the way, in which case you should be seeing a value of 1.50 when it's running correctly. I thought you initially were just gonna use the DC mA setting, but this is good, with the 100ohm in there, at least you smoked that and nothing else...

so what are you saying? they are turned all the way down. i can do a dc milliamp ant tell ya what they are, the 2v section goes by .000 and the dc milliamp is also .000... ill check dc milli

whew the dc milli is for the:

Left .380
right .886

quite high something not right.... i got 2 9 volts, should i put both on there or would that make it all go pfffffff white smoke!

OK!, then crank it up till it says 1.5 volts, and it will correspond to 15mA through the CCS. lemme know if it works

should there be a different picture in the last post, it was the meter knob again...

ok, im testing this on th 3545, after i moved the red jumpers, so now there is nothing connected to the middle prong..... does that make sence ill test the thing now....
