15" woofer ID

Not sure what these are, and neither is the seller, but if they are something special I may check them out. Anyone have any ideas?

The apparently large diameter voice coil, accordion surround, machined rear housing alone would get me interested. Can't tell if the baskets are cast or stamped but if cast, it's a no-brainer. [Edit: I see the ad says they are cast] Are they subs or woofers?

If you can get that 5 digit # it may indicate something.

I thought they looked really nice too just based on construction alone. I inquired about the serial numbers and asked if they know where they came from or what they were used for previously.

That it has a cast frame does not necessarily guarantee it's a quality woofer, and a stamped basket doesn't guarantee that it's not.

As for ID, Goldwood comes to mind except the odd spacing of the terminals, and lack of any other identifiers suggests an import for OEM. Quality could be anywhere across the board depending what the original contract specified in terms of performance parameters and price.

The seller didn't really have any good info on their history, but he's gonna get the serial numbers to me. Probably nothing I'm gonna go for.
