Remove with a Universal Adjustable nut remover (cresent wrench). 1 per corner. Just make sure it's blocked up or laying on it's back 1st.

Make sure you tighten down the transit screws on the turntable chassis and tape the tonearm down to the post AND the chassis (clear packing tape works good). Secure whichever spindle is sitting loose AND the 45 Adapter.

Or put a moving blanket over the top and front and use 2 straps going up and over the doors.

DAMN! You got the mic's and all! SCORE!!!!!!!

The ambassador and Futura use the same guts. I'll see if I can find my old thread on the Futura rebuild and an Electra VIII (Same Amp, less output transistors).
Some links to help overhaul the amp/tuner

This one is most important regarding your Ambassador

There's some surface rust on the amplifier chassis and the transformer. A bit concerning to me. I think it might be wise to take the amplifier from the other Ambassador VII that I have with the bad cabinet. There isn't really any water damage to the cabinet. It's strange...

A little surface rust on the chassis won't hurt it. condensation and heating cycles does that over a few decades. None of us look as good at 60-65+ as we did as 18 year olds. Rub it with some Aluminum Foil and a little windex. Dry and add a coat of Carnauba wax. For the transformer you should be able to remove the endbells, sand and rattle can them. Same with the laminations. Mask the chassis off and just do them all at once. Just don't buff off the Cadmium plating unless you've got PPE. Cadmium dust is Toxic.
