When my dad gave me his 2238 a couple months ago, he also gave me a pretty cool brochure. I just scanned it for a friend who's looking for a Marantz and thought I'd upload it here too.

I don't think I've seen that brochure... very cool!

I really liked how they assumed the consumer wasn't a moron by explaining the IHF, capacitor coupling, etc. Don't see that today.
