Next month, I will receive 2 Sansui AU-X1 for restoration: the first one, the vendor said, is not powering on, and the second, the vendor states that it is smoking. Well, it is going to be a challenge, but I can touch them after the middle of October. I will need to send both of them to Power Coat, but the first one I will have to send to the body shop to repair a big dip in the cover. Some pictures below:

This is the first one

The second

I will start working on the second one that is smoking. I just bought 12 output transistors: 6 PNP and 6 NPN. They are original Sanken.

I will post the issues and the restoration when I start them.

I found those transistors at Dalbani Global; they are in Miami, FL. I don't know if you guys know this company; it's the first time that I am buying from them.
Let me know if somebody has any experience buying from them.

I bought the PNP pair as well.

Those are not new; they were pulled off an X1. Also, there are some differences. I had one X1 where all the transistors were series N. Please post a picture of yours.
Thank you

The "N" are non-magnetic and were maybe JDM only. No measurable performance difference between N and non N. I can share some photos of mine later, too. I have no experience with that seller. I bought mine from Kale and I think he still has some listed for sale.
