$200 AR 94s, Boston Craigslist

If anyone in Boston wants a pair of ar-94's, I'll save you the $200 :thmbsp:
you'll have to refoam, though...

If you're tossing 'em out, keep me posted.

I'd love to hear a pair of what everyone's talking about.

But I'll need to buy a bigger, stronger amp...

I'm actually tossing them out there, or .. here? anyway, the only way they're leaving my house is if someone wants them - I wouldn't throw them away. Right now, the sound? not so good, woof foam = gone. I found them, like my 93's a bit heavy in the bass, and somewhat... veiled? - a re-cap might help as well.

Where are you in Mass?

And are these 4 ohm speakers? If I recall, they are.

I'll try to contact you- I'm not afraid of refoaming and recapping :D

you may be thinking of the 91s (a much better speaker, imo) The 94 uses 3 drivers - tweeter, 8" mid and 8" woofer. I found this AR series one of the easiest speaker to refoam, the crossover is a bit of hassle to get at though. I'll hold them for you - it'll probably take a week or so anyway to get up the courage to dig them out !

hell, take a look at my posted vinyl trades and see what you want. I'm south of Boston, but since I drive up every day for work we can meet mid-day sometime.
