My first spin of the season:
I was inspired by hearing a Christmas song in Macy's today.

Thank you! I have been MIA for roughly 10 months, nice that you remember.
When I saw that someone had replied I immediately though that someone had posted the unavoidable, "I don't listen to Christmas music till after Thanksgiving." lol
I'll get many in the coming weeks. It's all good though. People like to express themselves. Nothing wrong with that.

I forgot how beautiful this Bach oratorio is. Just wonderful!

Ha ha, we went through this last year - the "How can you listen to the Christmas music so early?" routine. To each his/her own!!
I've been playing a couple of those old "budget" Christmas LPs that I just ordered for the coming Christmas season. Really nice stuff.
I have at least one recording of the Christmas Oratorio, and I'll play that soon. Enjoy, and again, really great to see you posting.

Last year I didn't get to play any X-Mas music. My wife and Daughters say I get to emotional when I listen to them. I don't care this year I'm playing them as I have added a few new one this year too. I probably won't play them till after Thanksgiving as well. It will be tough this year as my Middle Daughter got married this year to a Navy Sailor and is now in Virginia Beach, VA. It will be the first holidays spend without her. I miss her a lot!!! Anyway keep'em coming I always like to see new X-Mas albums to pick up.
