2019 Mid Atlantic Fall AK gathering - Sunday Oct. 13 - 12 noon till 5pm. At ehoove's !!

The day is TODAY!! I'll grab some cups and plates and such,
maybe a few sodas. and see you all in a couple hours!~

Thanks Jim for another great gathering. It was good catching up with the gang & swapping stories and gear. Rick, here's hoping things get better for your folks and you, too.

It was great seeing everyone. Had some great conversations, great food, and, as always, great company. Big thanks to @ehoove for stepping in at the last minute, letting everyone show up at his place for the second time in a year, being a great host (as usual), and that amazing crab dip. Swung by and saw one of my ham buddies for an "eyeball QSO" since he was just "over the river" in Charles Town.

About to kick on my system and enjoy a cup of coffee since I don't have to work tomorrow.

@Ohighway, hope everything with your family and your back gets sorted out; the stress of one (or both) makes the other (or both) seem worse, but hang in there bud.

See everyone in the spring.

Just got back about 20 minutes ago - southbound 95 was a mess...

Thanks again Joey for driving up and back!!

Despite the travel issues myself and the rest of the 757 contingent had a great time!! Thank you Jim for hosting another great event and playing the DJ taking requests for your amazing system.

Glad to see so many familiar faces though I was unable to talk to everyone!

Hope to see everyone in the Spring!

Thanks Jim for hosting.
Great to see everyone again. I feel bad , I'm sure I missed talking to some people much (if at all:dunno:)
No slight intended , just the flow of the day..
Great day all in all. I'll try and post some pics later.

You didn't get home until almost 11?
I got home before that.

Quite a number of friends and an excellent day of audio stuff... and reassurance that I'm not the only crazy person. Thanks for hosting, @ehoove , thanks for making an event-perfect brew, @jackmowbray , and sure did miss you, @Ohighway , hoping for the best outcome with all your efforts.

Who was the further-est traveler? @Wolverine ?

We took a vote. You are the only crazy person:crazy::D

A big thanks to everyone who attended the gathering. Special thanks to the 757 crew for enduring the long trip to join us! I enjoyed meeting the new folks, and seeing those who regularly attend. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves and hope to see you at the next gathering!
Regards,
Jim

Thanks Jim for hosting this event and especially for helping Rick out in his time of need. That is the true AK spirit!
It was great seeing everyone again and matching some new faces to their AK monikers. There were a few folks I never did get a chance to chat with but hopefully I get to see them again in the spring.

Late to the party as usual. Thanks Jim for hosting the party. I got some neat LPs and really did not pay for all the standing about too much the next day. I have a bunch of Yamaha face plates that came off sets that were beyond repair, probably in the days before I learned how to etch new circuit boards. If I kept them it would be that they were still pretty enough to be of use so I will bring them along in the spring - free to a good home and that much less for the landfill. I could note what they are here but I fear that shipping then risks bending and aluminium does not like being bent.
