2230B Capacitor Question

Hello, I replaced all the electrolytic caps on the power amp board except the 4 axial 220uf 50v caps in the center. I was not able to find any 'audio grade' caps in this configuration, but I was able to find 'standard grade'. My question, is it better to use radial 'audio grade' and have long leads, or use the axial 'standard grade' in this application? Thanks Rich

If radial fits, do it.

I read that radial last longer too.

I've seen many radial for axial replacements.
Some by "expert" service places.

The radials are usually so small that they can hang on just fine.

Vishay MAL138 axial caps are what I use but they're not cheap.
Digikey carries them.

Mouser also stocks these; prefer to maintain the stock appearance with axials.
