3 sets of speakers..what do I have?

I acquired 3 sets of speakers today thru a CL listing..one person had 3 sets. Tell me what I have.
A JVC SK-S44, which is the biggest, a Kenwood JL-630W, and a Team Award, which looks the most primitive and oldest.

None have foam issues, they don't appear to have foam, rather rubber or treated cloth, so they are not brittle. The Team Award is "old" paper cone technology.

IMHO you have low end component system speakers. Not a lot you can do with these. I would not be surprised if the last set sounds the best.
 
Listening to the JVC set, and surprisingly it sounds real good, I normally listen to Klipsch Heresy speakers, and these require just a teeny bit more power it seems. Very crisp highs, and of course more bass than the Heresys. I got all three pairs for $100 total cost, so I don't have much in them.
 
With 3 sets to play with for $100, I consider it cheap fun. ha ha. Did you notice I posted photos in my first post? I know how you guys like photos.

Junk; you blew a hundred bucks

Worth $5 dollars a pair TOPS and that's only if you needed some speakers for the garage or a really contaminated work area like a body shop

Cheap plastic knock-offs of JBLs (the JVCs and the Kenwoods)

The "Team Award"s - " in house" store brand knock-offs of the KLH Model 17 or one of the smaller Advents

There are some pretty insane sounding two way speakers out there... I've got a pair I built that if you didn't know you would have no idea they were two way..

It's not in how many ways the speaker is. It's all in how well they are set up..
 
2-ways, 3-ways, full range. How can any truly sound decent. Me, I'm holding out for the 1st set using 20,000 difference drivers, 1 for each cycle of the audio spectrum. I am not a fan of most Japanese speakers so I'd inherently gravitate to the last set but, that is a personal bias and bears no relationship to experience with any of the 3 sets.
