Has anyone used the 30hz test tone cd when replacing the surrounds on Watkins 12" woofers. Does it matter which VC to send the signal to. Also where can I obtain either a cd or mp3 of the 30hz tone. Thanks.

I've done it before. I just chose the VC with the higher impedance to make it easier on my test amp but other then that I didn't over think it. I have some 30hz test tone CDs that came with my refoam kits but I just use this software instead.

Rick Cobb sends out a 30Hz tone CD with his foam kits if you haven't ordered yours already.

If you have a smartphone and an 1/8 inch to RCA cable (who doesn't?), there are frequency generator apps. I found that out when I lost my Rick Cobb CD.

Thanks for the tip but OvenMaster sent me a 5-minute long, 30Hz sine wave 320kbps constant bit rate mono .mp3 test tone. I downloaded it and burnt to a cd.

It's still nice to have a sweep function to find any potential buzzes tht might be silent at 30 Hz.
