4400 Transformer Hum

Just curious as I am new to my 4400. It has a noticeable hum, quiet but there, coming from what seems is the main transformer and I was just wondering if someone else with a 4400 could let me know if they hear a quiet hum when it is on and not playing? Of course, when the sound is on, you can't hear it unless you put your ear down to it, but it is there when there is no audio. I just had this unit recapped and I am checking it out. Thanks Rich

My 4300 and 4400 both emit a faint transformer hum. I just completely re-capped the 4300, and its PS scopes a steady 35V with dead on DC offsets. In short, I think it's "normal".
