6300 TT Strobe removal...help

I'm trying to replace the strobe on my 6300 TT but have been unable to pull the bulb out from below. Have removed foot and plate for access. But pulling very hard and cant get it to budge. It move forward ever so slightly but not pulling out the bottom. Also the bulb housing top plate seems to be glued very well as unable to remove it even after soaking with some WD40 overnight. Any advice?

Slip a razor blade under the aluminum plate and pop it off, then you can get to the mounting screw.

Thanks, I have been trying that but seems to be glued well and is nicking the edges of plate and plastic.

Got an exact knife and was able to carefully work around the edges until released enough glue to pop it out. Replaced the strobe with the LED sold on eBay (purchased before reading other cheaper options here). But it worked and is brighter than the original. Deoxit in all the relays. Did the pitch control pots. They now turn with much less resistance.

Question: Do these pots have a conductive grease in them that gets washed out by the deoxit? Is this a problem in future for stability? Anything we should do afterwards? Was planning to hit with fader lube in a day or so.
