8080 lights

Just noticed that the lights on my 8080 seem to light, then go off, then go back on. I suspect the bulbs are going - is this an easy fix? and if so, how do I do it? - with limited skills.

Common problem with the 8080/9090. Sometimes mine would be dim and then brighten up after 20 mins. The best fix is new 'fuse' style bulbs and clean up the clip holders that they snap into.

Yes- this is common on the 7070 as well, and thus I presume 6060 & 5050. The QRX-7001 I have exhibits the same thing as well. As Lefty mentioned, cleaning the holders which might be oxidized should correct it if you are so inclined to go inside there and access them. Sometimes its a bit of pain to get at these things but if you are handy person or just like to get your hands in there, it shouldnt be too difficult
