8080db tuner

I just put my 8080db back together after giving the switches and pots a good cleaning, now for some reason the tuner isn't working in AM or FM. Any suggestions?

First double check all wires and connectors that were removed and all fuses.

After peters good advice, and if it still don't work, there are some 1 ohm fuse resistors on the power supply board that like to open. Replace them even if they are ok. The power supply board is the largest board in the middle of the receiver.

Perhaps something became disconnected while I was monkeying around. I'll open her up and have a peek, but I didn't actually detach any connectors or wires. I simply unscrewed the tuner so as to make enough room to get to the Dolby with the Deoxit.

Did any deoxit get on the tuning capacitor?

Check the voltage on the tuner power supply.

Look for a black ground wire from the tuner power board. It's a short one, and unplugs.
No ground, no tuner.
