Actually, a very nice piece of furniture. Kudos for the creativity. I've been looking for a good quality console with nice lines like that to do a mod on for myself.
I'm thinking if you remove the TV in this unit and install a few shelves for components, you'd have a very attractive and functional setup. Drop a couple of nice TT's and a R2R or Center Channel on top and use the space where the HK's are for fronts for the final touch. Mount a TV on the wall and your in business.

THats actually passable fair. Honestly I'd love to get one of these, gut the solid state electronics from it, and refit it with some nice tube gear. I think the normal electronics live under the lid, so with a little creative engineering you could do that and fit a TV in there.
