I think that the mumps idea of Roy's would incorporate the entire horn design which is only remotely the same as the function one. There was also a mention of a straight section which is a big no no. There has to be expansion in the horn and the snout too if it has one even if it is small. Straight walls kill sound quality and this is one of the reasons the old K-77's sound bad since they were forced to exit through a straight wall tunnel.I'm not too familiar with patent law, but these have been mumpin' out for a long time

So other then just fiddling around with design is there a reason you would want to try this shape?I've struggled with designing a horn with rolled over mouth but managed to cheat a little. Now if I can figure out how to simulate it in AKABAK, since so far, I've only worked with flat mouth and baffle. Looks cool though

More fiddling than not. With all the tools coming out this is probably a waste of time. CAD allows one to design a horn to fit the project instead of the other way around. Or one can just use sites like this to purchase and download 3D printable horn files. 3D printers are getting bigger and better!So other then just fiddling around with design is there a reason you would want to try this shape?
This looks fantastic! If the STL is available somewhere I’m very interested.Moved on to another horn type. William Neile Bi-Radial 300hz Fc. I'm learning a lot playing with these complex horn types in Fusion. Very tempted to print this, but gonna take a lot if filament.
