More likely the other way around. I seriously doubt if JBL needs to look to radio shack for inspiration!:no:

I doubt they copied them either but the Mach series was discontinued 10-15 years ago and that JBL looks to be current production. I don't believe JBL had anything like that either during the time the Mach's were around but someone will weigh in on that.

What a concept! I wonder if Klipsch will now follow JBL's lead :D

I have to admit, it does kind of look Mach 1'ish

Not my Radio Shack. They don't carry Deoxit or tuner cleaner anymore. cell phones, batteries, speakers the ocational turn table and just about any wire you could possibly need on a moments notice (the only reason I got to rat shack any more).
 
Oops. I guess I should have added a :D or ;) to my initial post - I really meant my post to be kind of on the humorous side.
 
C'mon guys?!! The fact that the RS staff does know their anal sphincter from a hole in the ground, is a plus. I don't know how many times I spend a peaceful, unmolested half-hour browsing through the parts section while my wife shops for Christmas decorations, which is for her, a year-round proposition.
