A Kenwood receiver you don't see every day.

Wonder what it will fetch.

I'll watch that one. I won't bid but it should be interesting. That is a beauty.

Wow, shiny! I like the red lamps...

WOW! A rare bronze faced release of the KR-9600,would love to get my hands on one of those.
Now,just think if it were housed in the rare KR-9600/KR-9060 optional wood cabinet. That'd be totally awesome

Gary Sauther`s auctions invariably go higher than average, so don`t be surprised by this one.

As soon as I saw it I thought, "Wood case!". That and the polished chrome on the rack handles makes them look wrong for this model.

[Mystery]

$35 shipping for a 53 lbs receiver + packing?
I need to find what service they use.

I had a wood case for a KR-9600. I gave to a guy that loved his 9600.

The handles don't look too out of place. They do match the knobs.

I think he would make up for it if it shipped to Canada. That shows $350! :sigh:

[Aldo]

That has as much chrome as a 57 Chevy

I had one of those in truly pristine condition that I sold back in 2009. Got $550 BIN for it. The vintage receiver market seems to be doing better now so I'll bet this fellow will get more.
