I picked up an AX 900 a few weeks ago. First thing I did was verify it powered on before I lugged that heavyweight home. It did. Got it home and hooked it up to a spare speaker set using the Aux input. Everything appeared OK at low levels besides the obligatory scratchy pots. Gave it 2 cleanings and let it sit for a few days.
Today I hooked it up to my main setup, which includes a turntable, cd player and my cherished KEF's. When I began to put it thru the paces(only because wife was out and I could crank it), it was obvious the left channel was somewhat less loud than the right. This was apparent on any input. What are the steps I should follow to try to figure out what is the cause?
