I've seen them languish at that price around here.

Well worth the money but once again large stats are a tough mover.

I almost bought a pair of 2+2s for $100 that had started out at $1200. I have nowhere to play them and I saww what a hard time he had moving them so I backed off.

Oh well

Eric

I hear ya... my 22's are big enough! I couldn't fit 33's in my room!

If those are still around in two weeks, I'm going to be all over them. Maybe I'm crazy, no wait, yeah, I'm freaking nuts. But aren't those supposed to be higher on the ladder than my 2MH's?

Yep... ...Not that the 2MH's are that bad, but the Spectra Sound Dispersion Technology really did (does) work! :thmbsp:

If I did not have a set of 3MH's and Monitor 4's with the OTL's... These would be interesting to listen to.

I have not heard the sound dispersion technology.

If those were cheaper, I'd be working a deal on them. My man cave has a relatively low ceiling height, so the of the Spectra series the 33 and the 3300 are about the only models that will fit. I recall there was a pair for sale earlier this year near Philly for a lots less, but I could not manage the drive there and back to get them.

Maybe If they were in Springfield IN, instead of MO, I might try to pick them up this weekend... alas, I'm a bit too far from them - not to mention needing another large ESL like a hole in my head! :D

...Aw, come on Doug, you KNOW you want them! What's another 10".

Well, the ad is still posted. As it turns out, the family and I will be traveling to the Ozarks next week for a short vacation. Knowing that I will be within a relatively short distance of these with no way to transport them home (and not nearly enough disposable cash to buy them) is keeping me up at night.

Tempting...but I'd have to sell the 107's...and I don't know if the Acoustats would fit my room...small-ish, low ceiling, tile floors, would have to go on either side of the fireplace...the Kef's are just so easy to place it's ridiculous. If I ever get the right room I WILL try some Acoustats or the full range Apogees!
