They certainly seem well made. What would the odd shape of the woofer and the tweeters being in front do to the sound quality?

I'd love to know more about these, would really love to hear them and "play" with them for a while.

They're absolutely HUGE, but sadly nothing in the pics to give a sense of scale, he says the tweeters are each 4 inch( i think they're 3) and the whole thing is 18 inches in the long direction!

He says they are 10x17... that is a big speaker..

Here's a novel idea.. ya wanna hear them.. start bidding :D

Looks like $55 for shipping... so already at $100 starting.. I bet they get expensive fast...

"THEY HIT MID BASS NOTES REGULAR ROUND SPEAKERS CANNOT. "

There, I told you guys there was something WRONG with your speakers, especially those damned round ones. Not you can send them to me for disposal and get some oval ones that CAN hit those mid bass notes. :D

I am the proud owner of the single tweeter bridge model. :D

So tell us, what do the mid bass notes sound like that we can't hear?

The mid bass notes on mine also sound as if I cannot hear them. However this might be because of the fact that they are still in the garage and have never been hooked up.

4 of those stacked lengthwise per side might make a nice little line array project.

The oval shape wouldn't have a notable impact on the sound. It does make it more difficult to make the suspension linear at all points, though.

Actually the eliptical drivers impart a very wide but not tall sound to the notes. That is of course if the drivers are laying on their sides. If they are in the upright position, the opposite is true.

Thats my story and I'm sticking with it.

Now that's just plain foolish. How would you know which corner to go around if you couldn't hear it until you got there?

Come on now...:D

Hey Doug, mine look like they're the same as yours.

Have you ever removed them from their cabs?

Nope, not yet.

I joke about them but I actually curious to hear what they sound like. I think they might be another OB candidate.
