ADS 1090 Tweeter replacement

I'm trying to replace old tweeters in ADS 1090's and can not remove them . They won't budge. Prying etc. is futile. Any suggestions for removal short of utter destruction of the cabinets? The cabinets appear to be sealed but for the low partial access in back. Thanks.

Try some dental floss or a guitar string underneath the corner. Saw back and forth to release it.

I ain't ever used floss, or own a geetar. Will a banjo string work? I got one of those. The pigs like tha music!

I have luck using a pick set. Pressure upward until the glue seal gives.

Screw hook screwed into the hole, using one large enough that bites quickly at the very tip and then pull the tweeter out. Those gaskets/cutouts are tight.

This is the method I've used with good success. It's similar to Blue Shadow's suggestion, but it also has a fulcrum for leverage.

Dental floss? Never tried that. But I'm moving to Montana soon. Gonna be a dental floss tycoon.
