ADS 910 Woofers... ADS, Braun, or neither?

Hi, my four ADS 910 woofers are numbered\labeled\stamped:

4576, 8 Ohm, 10
4476, 8 Ohm, 10
4376, 8 Ohm, 9 or 6 (the 9 or 6 is circled)

See attached pics.

I'm pretty certain using the "a/d/s parts schedule 1992 share" on http://sportsbil.com/ads/ that the woofers in my ADS 910's are not ADS originals nor are the woofers ADS replacements, so that leaves me wondering if the woofers are Braun, or something else?

Any experts available to solve my mystery?

Not an expert but fwiw Braun driver part numbers normally have "4-digets+3digets+1letter" (1111-111-X). Your number doesn't match with anything that I see in the Braun cross reference list that I know of.

Cheers,
James

Thanks for taking the time to reply to the post, and so the mystery remains a mystery... so far.

Some more info.

According to "a/d/s parts schedule 1992 share" on http://sportsbil.com/ads/, original woofers for earlier 910's (serial number 0 - 4342) should be 206-0313, or original woofers for later 910's (serial number 4343 and higher) should be 206-0329.

The tweeters and mid ranges for my 910's are official replacements (206-0117, and 206-0211), so I'm assuming something went really bad in these speakers' past.

I'm guessing those numbers indicate manufacturing dates: same driver, but 43rd, 44th, and 45th weeks of 1976. Probably still under the Braun brand label.

Wow! You guys are good.

When I removed the woofers from the 910 cabinets, I did not see any indication that the woofers were removed, but was so puzzled by the different numbers stamped on the woofers. Things got worse when I removed the tweeters and mid ranges. Both sets had stickers indicating they were replacements, and I confirmed that with the 1992 ADS parts catalog. I thought the speakers were abused and had a catastrophic failure, and someone pulled parts from different models, and Macgyver'd the set. Whew!

The 43rd, 44th, and 45th weeks of 1976 jive with what I found stamped on the inside of my cabinets (see pic attached).

The stamps in the cabinets, and the stamps on the woofers seem to point to ADS manufacturing the speakers in late 1976. These speakers are early production indicated by the walnut veneered backs, and smaller dust covers.

I'm so relieved. Thank you all again!

Contact Richard So. He use to work at ADS, and rebuilds any ADS speaker or crossover. He should be able to tell you exactly what those woofers are.
