ADS L 1090 a Steal in MN

If I had the money, I'd grab them.
Sub wise and ADS related, I built a transmission line for a 300i plate. That little 5-1/4" kept surprising me by hitting low notes that seemed pretty unlikely.

That may be the first time I've ever heard ADS classified as a low/mid brand speaker. They weren't $10k new but they weren't anywhere near cheap either. And those do look as close to perfect as 30 year old speakers get.

Agreed! By no means is the 1090 a low brand speaker. It def a quality build. Really involving with a large soundstage. I'd love to own some L 710's and hook it up to a Sansui Eight.

I'm not saying ADS is low.
ADS is mid level.

I said low/mid as a generic statement for anything that are on sale for $400 used don't sell quick.
However, if it's entry level or better high end model for $400 used, they vanish like magic as soon as they are listed.
Like the Vandersteen 3A Sigs I grabbed for less than half grand.
They don't stay long.

Here is a pair of 990 for $300 and it's been months and few ads...
