He was and he used to be almost a neighbor. Had several fun evenings with him. The BBQ at his house was good too. I miss him.

I love my 570/2's and I would like to find a set of 810's with metal grilles available locally.

I hope you find them.....you will love them. I've heard almost all the ADS large bookshelf speakers and the 810's are my favorites. They excel for any genre of
music and especially for rock. My other ADS that are up there that I used to own are the L730's......but the 810's out perform even those. They are an A+ in my opinion.

Thank you... I have not found a set of 810s locally, but I did find a set of 780/2s that I like very much.

I never found a set of L810/2's, but I was able to pick up a set of L980/2's and they make me smile.

The 980's are awesome speakers....also very hard to find. The prices people are paying for the 810's now is beyond belief.
I've seen pairs of 810's sell on EBay for over 2,000.00. They seem to be getting harder and harder to find.
