Aleene's Tacky Spray of the repositionable flavor. Craft stores like Michael's carries it. Spray the grill. NOT the cloth. I went a little nuts and masked the entire face of the grill and went over the back side where the spray would be applied with a shop vac to suck as much tape into the hole as possible to avoid as much overspray through the grill as I could. I don't know if that was necessary, but I didn't feel any tackiness on the outside of the grill.
The bad: no driver view to be had.

I had good success taming the bass by putting them up on milkcrates, saving hundreds by not getting the insanely overpriced ADS stands.

But the midrange really got old to me, as did the lack of imaging and soundstaging.

great info/tips on the speaker grill fabric btw....I have considered speaker grill fabric from parts express in the past..This project will be a good opportunity to finally test it and explore other methods.

ADS had enough sense not to apply that term to the L980.

Got that right! I don't think a lot of people realize how big the L980 is since its seldom seen in the flesh.
