Anybody using all ads speakers for your home theatre system or system's? I've got three system's with all ads speakers. All 5.1, but two of them i'm running two subwoofers using a y splitter cord.

Welcome! Plenty of ADS fans here at AK...myself included. I was running L-10s until I stumbled upon my KG 5.5s. Quite a difference sizewise:)

Interesting, I just sold a pair of kg 4.2's that I found at a goodwill store in black for,,, $35.00 in September 2014. And two months later I bought the kg 2.2v center speaker. I do now have seller's remorse. But I bought pair of ads l780's series 2 in black plasticrete cab's to go with an l470 on a stand on it's side. And my rears are l300e's, all in black. My downstairs system is the other l470 also on its side, with l570's as front's that I bought brand new in 1985. My rears are l310 w's. I grew up on ads. First pair 1977 l700's a year later traded them back to magnolia for a set of, again brand new 1978 l810's. I would love to pull my 85 denon dra700 out of mothballs and find a set of l810's and go stereo again in another room in the house. But my significant other says YOU HAVE ENOUGH. Oh well, I can dream can't I? So hi everybody hope I didn't ramble too much, but as Arnie says,,,, I'll be back. will d, out. Oh, forgot my little system. Grabbed an old microwave cart out of the garage, and put an old 5.1 receiver on top with an old cd player on top of it. The shelf below using two ads l300e's standing up and a l300e on it's side between the two and on the bottom an old 60 watt rca subwoofer. The cart is on casters so I roll it out the french doors on to the deck on nice days and barbecues. No tv, but music outside. I love that. Oh and also listening to my Seattle Mariners games. I've been called crazy, but as I said, I love it. Keep listening people, life's too short not to. Will D.

Yes, set of L1230's main, and L810's Center, Surround. However, I've custom built the cabs for Center/Surrounds. Not so obvious reasons for the L810's is the fact they used the very same Tweeter/Mid/Woofers in them as the L1230's. At least this is true in one of the series of L810's. Was going to reveal them at some point but still need to finish the Cloth Grills. Can anyone point me in the direction of the stretch cloth used on the L1230's?

NICE! I've actually gone to stereo with two of those systems I had set up before. My 5.1 system in the cave is being changed out with ADS L-630's as mains and an L-710 as the center and ( haven't decided yet) either L-690's as rears or L-780 2's. Your system sounds very cool, I bet it's going to be NICE! Welcome to A.K. Will D.

Thank you Will, and I do very much enjoy. I recently bought the Yamaha RX-A3070 and it totally woke this system up. I still prefer 2 channel for music when I can dedicate the time to listen critically. Working 6 days a week leaves me little time to dedicate that effort. Meh, my cross to carry I guess. In any case, The yamaha has a mulitpoint YPAO setup that balances all of the speakers to as many points in the room as you wish to include. The result is quite wonderful to be honest. I'll post my custom Center Channel for every one to enjoy. It was fashioned after my mains, the L1230's. Although I used Oak instead of Maple, it was by choice I did so, because I enjoy the grain.
