Grill removal is tricky...

I'm betting they are New Large Advents (NLA's) with the bullnose styling. The bullnose is simply the square ring between the grill and cabinet.

Thats what makes grill removal tricky. The bullnose ring is actually attached to the cabinet, not the grill. But its hard to tell just looking at them when the grill is on.
First instinct is to pry behind the ring. It doesn't budge and some people give up there.
When in fact the best way to do it is to use a thin putty knife or butter knife and get in between the ring and the grill. Gently pry until one corner pops loose.
There are 6 velcro connecting points in the obvious places.

I have 5 pairs of Advents including NLA's (pic below) and none of them have disappointed. :thmbsp:

If you get them, you got a great deal and I'm betting you will enjoy them. But like others mentioned,refoam will most likely be needed.

I have three pair of Advents. One has the masonite ring, orange offset tweeter and slanted front trim with the badge located on the left corner of the grille.

One has the bullnose trim, metal ring, flush mounted orange tweeter and the badge located on the left corner of the grille.

The other is a 25th Anniversary model with a dome tweeter, bullnose trim, metal ring and the badge located on the left corner. This speaker resembles the 5002 but I have no way of knowing if they are the same speaker.
