Last three images, and this one, are of Yosemite legend, Ron Kauk. In 1975 at the age of 17, he made the first free ascent of the east face of Washington Column, renaming the route Astroman (a 5.11c route). Astroman held title as the hardest long free route in Yosemite Valley for over 10 years.
