Aiwa was an offshot from Sony, so that TT probably had a lot of Sony´s know how behind it.

Looks pretty decent, IMO.

The sister of my Ex owns one... as original owner... with a V15MK4.. it's inovative 80s design... decent quality and wasn't cheap at all. Thought it was dye cast chassis, but it's some very special material used for it. Told her if she ever has to get rid of it...

I think details will be hard to find. Sony took over Aiwa in about 2002. Prior to that they seem to be independant. Origin appears to be Fiji

I bought an Aiwa AP 2200 new and a B&O mmc20en cartridge, and she talked so sweet I had to wait 30 years, well only my 6 year old daughter can melt me like that lol. I still have the receipt and owners manual. You just may find all the info you need at Audiocircuit.com.

isn't the arm way too heavy for the mmc20?

I just pick up one of these off of CL, mint original owner in original carton. Can I assume 49 mm cart overhang?

The dust over is clear as glass.

Answered my own question, measured the old Grado FC+, 49 mm. Wondering if I should just replace stylist ($40-50) or just replace?
