AK Bracket Game is Back!

Kinda feels like walking into a high school reunion after 30 years, at least I still recognize KeninDC's avatard. Speaking of 'tard, I probably shouldn't have picked Iowa State to go as far as I did. Now I get to cheer for mayhem, not like I wasn't already.

Yup, and a 3 beating a 14 is 4 points, hence the scores we all have at the moment. Glad nobody picked UAB, that would have been a 15 pointer this round.

Cheer up. I had Iowa State going to the Final Four. Why? Because I watched them on TV once this season.

BTW, I'm OK with any type of scoring. Anything to burden the AK NCAA Commissioner.

That is nuts. Not sure if in this bracket or another I did but I had them in the final 4.

I watched this team all year. They are the real deal.

Thought they might come out looking better than this but, oh well.

I put them there too. That was a long shot, but I did not think making the 8 was a long shot. But hey, I've got some other long shots up my sleeve to save the day.

I put them in the final four because Johnny Orr left Michigan to coach there and may have spilled some Big10 Koolaid on the floor.

Not sure picking a 3 seed is that much of a longshot. Picking UAB to win a game would have been a long shot...that scored.
 
Okay so 3-seed Baylor goes down too. Does this mean Oklahoma is doomed? Or maybe it means they squeak by at the buzzer like the Irish.
 
Here is a question, how does Texas get in the tourney but not Miami?

Year after year you see a midwest bias.

There's been some crazy shitte happen today.
Steve Austin gave dem Utes a game, but faded at the end. I had them winning two.:no: Their loss seems to have dropped me from tied for 7th to all alone in 12th:sigh:.

I'll say one thing for this new scoring, it sure separated the field in a hurry.

Okay, I'll say another. I never would have believed somebody could have a 30 point lead at this early juncture.

btw, the current leader is bsujeep. He hasn't yet changed his handle to his AK screen name (or mine, ANDY!)
 
Sad day for SMU big man Yanick Moreira, called for goaltending on a 3-pointer that would've missed. Sad day for all the Mustangs, but especially this fellow.
