No coincidence that there is good surf in all those countries? (Wink).
the GF and i have been going out and checking out old out of the way ghost towns and old homesteads. theres places here in Orygun you can go for days and never see anybody. ive got 5 motorcycles and dont ride much anymore as the traffic on roads are insane.

Amen to that. I sold my last motorcycle in 2010 for exactly that reason. The automobile drivers are not just careless, they're malevolent.

Here in CA, many of the motorcycle riders are worse than car drivers.
And don't get me started on E-Bike riders.

I’ve opted out of buying another bike as today’s drivers are too distracted by their damn phones. One needed to be careful 30 years ago when I sold my 1982 Suzuki GS1100 GKZ, and are far worse now.
That being said, it seems that there are fewer younger riders on smaller bikes. Harley’s seem to predominate the roads usually piloted by some grey haired guy. I do hear the squids winding out their sportbikes from my yard, but don’t see them much on the roads here.

Got down to Tarifa in Spain, but didn't have a chance to take a ferry to Tangiers.
Love the idea of taking a boat from Europe to Africa.

I used to race MX on a 125. Later got a KZ1000.
I'd "surf" my bike, no hands, standing on the seat.
Eventually cartwheeled the KZ down a hill.
Those were 2 of my teenager' s dream destinations but I think I will miss them but who knows!

Umm, how badly were you hurt?
I have fast, cat like reflexes. At least then.
Luckily, went into a rolled and didn't get a scratch.
Watch it cartwheeled down the hill. Totaled the bike.
Did put a tear in my new fabric shoes.

I lived in and explored California for 41 years.
My daughter lives in NYC and I love visiting her.
Family has been in Hawaii since 1885.
I know those places really well.
i used to tuck and roll, now i fall like a sack of crap.just a big splat
