Hi all,
First i'd like to apologize if this s not the right place to post this.
I recently bought a used Akai AM-55 with a pair of Musical Fidelity speakers, The system looks and sounds as new and i am very happy with it.
Few days ago i tried connecting to the digital inputs (which i never had tried before ) and nothing shows up, this amp has optical in and RCA in+out SPDIF and the input selector has lights to signify the sample rate of the playing source which don't light up at all.
I have tried connecting a CD to the RCA in or a Macbook through the optical toslink (yes the Macbook has a toslink and able to see the red light through the optical cable)
If anyone knows this amp and can help me out here i'd be very very happy
Thank you all for being and maintaining this forum
