Alan Parsons Project - I Robot ... Which Version LP?

I have been on a major Alan Parsons Project kick lately and recently acquired an original pressing of I Robot (for a bargain $3)... Very clean and sounds great.
Had previously ONLY owned Turn of a Friendly Card.

But the other day I was perusing eBay and happen to see an original MFSL of I Robot ending soon at a reasonable rate (~$20, which is actually a LOT for me to spend on an LP), so I bid and won it.
And in fact this will be my very first MFSL album, even though i have been at this a long time.

OF course, now I see there is also a 45 RPM MFSL version out too and of course the ultra pricey UHQR version...

So just curious if anyone had experience across the multiple pressings here and if there was an opinion to offer on them, in terms of SQ?

Kind of excited about my first MFSL album, but dont want to set my expectations too high...

I'd definitely consider the Sony Canada remaster ... that's also the updated remix by the master himself.

Oh Interesting, hadn't thought about Canadian pressings...
Honestly, it seems to me the original pressings of APP albums (the few I have) are pretty amazing sounding, so gets me to wondering "how good CAN they get?"

I have an original of Eye in the Sky and a new pressing from Speakers Corner - no contest the Speakers Corner pressing is superior - clean, quiet, rich, dynamic - sounds great!

Eye in the Sky is an album I dont yet own..

So far only have:
I Robot (Original Press & MFSL)
Pyramid (Original Press)
Turn of a Friendly Card (Original Press)
Vulture Culture (Original Press)

Don't know how far Im gonna go with APP, but right now I CANT get enough...

The UK is my top dawg for sure!
The Classic Records DVD-A (192 side) sounds surprising close to the UK.
The GRM press I keep as it is so much fun, some deep bass that shames the MoFi.
The MoFi is one of my fav MoFi's from that era, still like to play sd 2.
No shame in the US first issues, I have a few.
Not pictured are a JPN CD and cassette.

I have considered the 45rpm version...might get it as a completest. It should sound big if nothing else, just concerned about breaking up the flow.

For the US version, look for the Doug Sax cuts, they will have TML stamped in the dead wax. Even some of the reissues with the gawd awful cover used those stampers.
As this was recorded at Abbey Road and they seldom sent the best tapes across the pond, the UK cuts would be my guess as to be being the absolute best. But that's just a guess on my part.

Thats what I am talking about APP DEDICATION!
But you also raise a great point about the 45 RPM discs and "breaking up the flow"...
Which is why I think I am truly enjoying APP right now, because it seems to me the sum of APP albums is greater than the individual songs.
Just well assembled albums.
