Listening to some AM Radio, some investment show. Drinking a mint tea with some honey. Have a few of my vintage fans in the windows on low pulling in some nice cool air. Have only had to run the AC a few times this summer.

pulled out an older 60/70s era JC Penny 22”Box fan. The thing moves so much air, just built like a tank too, all metal blades and massive GE motor. On low it’s dead silent yet moves a massive amount of air. I also recently picked up a vintage desk fan from the 70s it’s a 12” the motor on it is in fantastic shape but the pull tab to make it occultation seems to be locked in place, not sure if someone used locktite on it, but haven’t been able to get it off yet. I did oil the motor and it moves are substantially better than modern fans. They hold their value too, get on eBay and look up vintage fans.

Just another one of my odd hobbies, vintage fans :)
