I picked up a pair of Allison 7s and refoamed them, replaced the 8uf cap and cleaned everything up. They are a 9.99/10. These are now as if they just left the showroom floor. I know original MSRP according to HIFI classic was $450.00/pr in the mid eighties . What would be acceptable asking price for these now? I know in the end there is a difference between value and actual value (what someone is really willing to pay), so what is a good starting point for determining restored speaker values?
