Allison Model Nine (early bi-amp version)

Hi all,

I've had a very busy few weeks.

I acquired a pair of Allison Model Nine (the original bi-amp version) recently. The subs are pretty gnarly, but I think they can be salvaged. The tweeters are good and the mids are good (although one is dented, it isn't effecting performance). I play tested with some Willie Nelson on just the high inputs and was very impressed.

I'm having trouble figuring out a value for these as I haven't seen a recent listing and need to know if it's worth investing the time and money to restore them properly.

Definitely worth it. Just do a simple refoam on the woofers and you're back in business.

I Have a pair of LC-110 and I love them and will never part with them. Allison's are pretty rare and great speakers to people in the know. I am just speculating in good condition I would think a couple hundred if the drivers were all good. I know I would love to hear them.

You can probably get that mid dent out with a little tape or tack material.
