Hello I have a friend I promised to help fix his Allison two speakers. Ive been having a very hard time tracking down the right parts not in the same or worse condition. One of the woofers appears to have a blown voicecoil and his young son pushed in one of the tweeters. I was wondering if anyone out there was parting out a pair or had any good advice for me other than just waiting and hoping something will eventually pop up on ebay.

Good luck with this. I think your best bet is to find an un-dented "nipple" twtr on the auction sites, then I would have a decent speaker re-cone out fit rebuild the woofers, Mid West Speakers are my go to folks for this! Good luck friend!

Great thanks for the info. Another problem I am having is figuring out what nipple tweeters will work. I feel like I'm inevitably going to end up getting a wrong one.

Do the tweeters have free leads that are "pinched" to the front of the cabinet with a spring loaded brass terminal? If so I might be able to source one of them.

be careful. the allison tweeters for the Allison One and Two's are different than the tweeters in the allison fours. Both look the same.

I just found this out...I've been looking for a tweeter for an Allison four: a two way speaker. Thought I had a line on one that came from an Allison Two. Turns out that the two's have a different frequency response because they are meant to be used with a mid range driver that picks up those mid tones. The fours tweeter produces frequencies much lower because there is no mid. Now that I think about it, I guess a tweeter from a four could be used in a two because it would cover all the tones the two's tweeter is expected to, but not vice versa. Better check.
