Back in the day they could play rock music with some real authority, and even then the amp was really more power than could ever be used with them. Nowadays I play under 85db, most days under 80 and the amp is just ridiculous, but it sounds quite good, and is paid for with 1975 dollars and not much that I own now (other than the L200's) can make that claim!

I don't think anything is made to last nowdays.
It's a lovely system it should give many more years of pleasure.
