I had a pair of AR-2ax and AR-2a (old pics). The pots are notorious to try and get cleaned. If it's just a bit scratchy, that's not bad. DeoxIT is great for cleaning pots. But it will take some doing.

The grills on these were held on by velcro. The surrounds on the woofers most likely need to be replaced.

Beautiful. Okay, I’m not sure if it was the 2ax because I know the surround was actually cloth and wasn’t deteriorated at all. It’s at my uncles house currently which is in Pukalani.

The older versions of the AR-2ax had cloth surrounds. There are some KLHs that look kinda similar had them too.
